Take 1-77 to exit 163, to 190-E toward E 9th St

Keep left at the fork, follow signs for I-90 E/Erie Pa and merge onto I-90 E. Take exit 173B for Chester Ave. Turn right onto Chester Ave. Turn left onto Euclid Ave.

Take 1-271 to exit 32, to 271 Brainard/Cedar Road.

Turn right onto Cedar Road. Turn right onto Coventry Road. Turn left onto Mayfield Road, and then right on Euclid Avenue.

Take I-90 to exit 177, to 90 MLK Jr. Blvd.

Turn right onto Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd and continue. At the traffic circle, take the third exit onto East Blvd. Make a slight left onto Ford Drive, and turn left onto Euclid Avenue.

Rail—Red Line

The Red Line extends from the Louis Stokes Station at Windermere in East Cleveland to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport on the west side. It services numerous neighborhoods in between, and stops in University Circle at East 120th Street. Walk west a few blocks on Euclid Avenue from 120th Street to reach Uptown.


The HealthLine connects Uptown with University Circle and downtown Cleveland. This bus rapid transit line runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and stops right outside of Uptown at East 115th and Euclid Ave.

Bicycle racks

There are a number of bicycle racks available at Uptown for patrons and residents to secure their bicycles on Euclid Avenue. Motorists are encouraged to share the road.
